How we handle your information

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address as part of serving the files. If you join the waitlist we store the details you enter — your role (coach, player or parent), name, email, club or city and your optional message — only to contact you about the pilot and launch. Ask us at any time to delete them and we will.

1. Where your data lives, and the AI (P1)

Personal information and media are stored only in Microsoft Azure's South Africa North region. Media is held in private storage and served through short-lived signed links; nothing is public.

AI feedback on a swing uses Azure OpenAI under a Global Standard deployment, which means model inference may run outside South Africa. We send only the 8 key frames per angle and the measured metrics — never a full video clip — and the provider does not retain them.

2. How long we keep it (P2)

Original swing recordings

90 days, on your device only. They are never uploaded.

Review clips (720p copies)

24 months from capture.

Messages and lesson notes

24 months after the account is closed.

5 years.

Financial records

5 years, as required by the Tax Administration Act.

Retention jobs run nightly. If a guardian withdraws consent, capture stops within one minute and video deletion starts within 30 days unless the guardian chooses to export first.

3. Your rights: export and deletion (P3)

Adults and guardians can export their data (JSON plus a zip of media) from the app; it is ready within 24 hours. Deletion is self-service and completes within 30 days, with a completion report sent to you. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

4. What we use it for, and what we don't (P4)

Data collected for coaching is used for coaching: lesson notes, plans, swing feedback, rounds and messages between the people in your coaching relationship. It is not used for advertising. Any analytics we look at are aggregated. Marketing messages are never sent to a child, and guardians receive them only with a separate opt-in.

Children

A child is anyone under 18. A junior profile can only be created by a guardian, and nothing is processed for a child without the guardian's current consent for that purpose. Guardians are participants in every message thread involving their child, every view of a child's media is logged and shown to the guardian, and AI feedback is only visible to a child after a coach has approved it.

Who processes data on our behalf

Microsoft (Azure hosting and Azure OpenAI), Peach Payments (subscriptions), and messaging providers for WhatsApp, SMS and email. Data-processing agreements are on file and the register is maintained in our processor register.
